Methotrexate is a drug used in the treatment of many autoimmune and autoinflammatory diseases.
However, certain adverse events have been related to its administration, including the mucocutaneous
involvement.
We present the case of a patient with manifestations of dermatological toxicity secondary to the ingestion
of methotrexate daily, without medical indication. The lesions responded to the suspension of the drug and
symptomatic treatment. The patient did not present severe systemic compromise.
