Abstract

Hepatocellular carcinoma is the most common malignant liver tumor. It can produce, rarely, lytic bone
metastases or paraneoplastic syndromes that generate hypercalcemia, reducing the probability of survival
of patients.
The case of a patient with severe hypercalcemia secondary to hepatocellular carcinoma is presented.
